Our Mission
To help Native youth around the globe feel their worth, understand their purpose, and know their true identity. Our curriculum inspires Native youth to reconnect with their heritage and cultural values, while providing the tools needed to build a solid foundation for a bright and happy future.
Our Vision
To have our Native youth connected to their roots in establishing a relationship with the Creator.
To instill hope in our Native youth. We want the youth to know that healthy change, and a better life, is always possible!
Our Story
Native American Fatherhood and Families Association (NAFFA) began in 2001 with only 1 father on the Salt River-Pima-Maricopa Indian Community. We have since grown to work with over 350+ tribes and agencies throughout the US and Canada, and our programs have benefited thousands of fathers and mothers.
Work on our new youth program, Transforming Tomorrow’s Youth, began on October 1st, 2024. NAFFA’s Transforming Tomorrow’s Youth Program is currently being built from the ground up, focusing upon the same principles taught in our Fatherhood is Sacred®/ Motherhood is Sacred®, Linking Generations through Strengthening Relationships©, and Suicide Prevention© curricula. This program will have a youth focus, while connecting Native youth to those values and customs honored in their heritage.
