Melody Billy-Project Coordinator
Former RN, BS in Medical Studies, Navajo/Hopi/Irish. She believes that learning from traditional healers, elders, and community leaders, and blending their wisdom with modern medical knowledge can bridge the gap between modern medicine and indigenous healing practices. This will create a harmonious space where our people may benefit from the best of both worlds. Most of all, Melody remains grounded and committed to her people. Her unwavering dedication to the art of medicine, combined with her genuine love for community, has humbled her and made her want to try harder in getting our indigenous community to make better healthcare choices and educate them. Her goal is to change the landscape of indigenous healthcare and leave a lasting legacy of improved health and wellness for generations to come.
