
Albert Pooley-Organization President
MSW, MPA, Navajo and Hopi. Mr. Pooley has over forty years of experience working with over 400 Native American Tribes and organizations throughout the United States and Canada as a tribal consultant. He received his Master of Social Work from the University of Utah in 1973 and his Master of Public Administration from the University of Denver in 1977. Prior to founding and presiding over NAFFA, Mr. Pooley served as a private practice and consultant therapist. He has served as 8 Executive Director of both the American Indian Resource Organization and the National Indian Board on Alcohol and Drug Abuse. Mr. Pooley has dedicated his life to empowering Native populations and to prioritizing his personal role as husband, father, and grandfather.
